We have stayed at David and Joanna’s house to celebrate Easter with the whole family. The house is very spacious and perfect for a very comfortable stay with many people. There s everything you need in the kitchen, and nobody has to miss a comfortable place at all the sofas. There have been games and books for the children, but the beautiful garden and the great weather made it more likely that we just stayed outside: We went for walks to the lake through the wonderful forest and had long evenings with some barbecues on the large deck. The location has also been perfect for day trips to Stockholm and Uppsala. Joanna and David have made us feel very welcomed and have not missed a thing to be the perfect hosts. It`s been a great pleasure meeting you! Thank you for the wonderful time at your place! Vi ses! 🙂

Joanna’s place is great. We were 6 adults and 4 children and we all had a wonderful time. There is plenty of outside space for the kids to play and the house backs on to a beautiful forest which eventually takes you down to the water which is stunning. The house was very clean and had all the kitchen utensils you could ask for. Joanna and her husband were very welcoming and told us all the best places to visit. They also guided us the the nearest supermarket which is a 10 minute drive. Overall a wonderful place to go to get away from it all and relax in the countryside but also only 40 or so minutes from Stockholm if you want to do some sightseeing. The only draw back for us was that there are no blackout blinds in the bedrooms which made it slightly difficult for us with getting young children to sleep. Otherwise, I would fully recommend. Many thanks Joanna, we hope to return in the future. 🙂

We had the best stay! The accommodation was beautiful. When we arrived, the place was extremely neat and tidy! The hosts were kind, hospitable and very helpful. The house had amazing scenic forest views. It was a quick and easy drive to the center of Stockholm. I would definitely stay again! We will be back, love it. Thanks David and Joanna!

This house was great with all the beds for all of us, and still plenty of space to socialise with the others. There is a great large decking with BBQ, however the weather was not quite right for it when we were there 🙁 Beautiful and peaceful location set on the verge of a lovely forrest for strolls under the Pine trees. Spotted some Lingon berries, Blueberries and mushrooms in there. House is comfortable, very clean with a laundry with both washing machine and dryer which is handy if you have kids like we do!

It was a great location for our family to meet up at who are spread out all across Europe. Joanna and her husband were very helpful in sorting out some horse riding activity for our children and a boat rental for me so I could fish! Spacious and clean and a very well equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet with easy access to the city.
